Episode 09: I’ve Heard It All - And I Loved Every Bit

I’m just a chair. But you wouldn’t believe the lives I’ve lived… just by listening.

They never ask me how I’m doing.
And that’s okay - I’m a chair.
But if I could talk, I’d tell you this:

I’ve held stories you’d never expect.
A quiet “I’m pregnant” whispered through shaky lips.
A breakup that ended in laughter, not tears.
One man who sat in silence for 40 minutes - I think he was remembering someone.

And once, a woman with blue eyes spilled her coffee on me.
Lavender-scented, flustered, funny.
She apologized like I was something precious.
I liked that.
She stayed a while. Wrote in a notebook.
Left smiling at no one in particular.

It’s those moments I carry.

The weight of a body.
The rhythm of a breath.
The thousand tiny things people bring
when they think no one’s watching.

But I am.

Not with judgment.
Not with curiosity.

Just with presence.

So if you’re ever near - come sit.

I promise I don’t judge.
I just listen.
And I remember.
In the quietest way possible.
